Nathan Freemantle
Senior Physiotherapist + Clinic Owner
Nathan is an experienced physiotherapist who has worked in private practice since graduating in 2009. He completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree here, in Perth, at The University of Notre Dame.
Over the past few years Nathan has been working in multi-disciplinary clinics alongside GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals. He has also provided sports physiotherapy for several community-based sports teams including soccer, rugby, AFL, touch rugby, and basketball.
In 2022, Nathan reached out to Physio Inq because he was interested in working for himself, and owning his own, stand alone, physiotherapy clinic. He wanted to be an employer, and pass on his wealth of experience to the next generation of therapists. In late 2022 (3 days before Christmas) he opened Physio Inq Baldivis, and hasn't looked back.
Nathan's therapeutic experience spans across the areas of chronic neck and lower back pain, pre and post operative conditions, sports injuries, respiratory conditions, dizzyness, jaw pain and falls prevention.
Outside of work, Nathan’s main role in life is that of a husband and father to five children. Nathan is actively involved in the basketball community, as a coach of junior basketball, and an enthusiastic supporter of his kids from the sideline. He also enjoys watching basketball, Aussie Rules Football and rugby union.
Marcus Ng
Physiotherapist
A recent graduate from Curtin University, Marcus's journey in physiotherapy began at the age of 13 when he received treatment for a sprained ankle after playing basketball. This personal experience ignited his passion for helping others recover from injuries and led him to pursue a career in private practice. With a keen interest in sports physiotherapy, Marcus aspires to make a significant impact in treating athletes across WA. He firmly believes in the power of exercise and an active lifestyle for rehabilitation and recovery, drawing from his own commitment to regular basketball games and gym sessions. Marcus's approach to therapy integrates his expertise in strength training with manual therapy techniques, ensuring optimal outcomes for his clients. His ability to communicate fluently in multiple languages, including English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, adds an extra layer of accessibility and inclusivity to his practice.
Beyond the clinic, Marcus is an adventurous soul with a passion for exploring new cultures. He finds solace in traveling, particularly to Japan, where he immerses himself in the rich tapestry of Japanese traditions and customs. When he's not globetrotting, you'll often find Marcus on the basketball court or whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen.
Tris Wong
Physiotherapist
Tris joins us as a recent graduate from Curtin University with a degree in Physiotherapy and brings a wealth of enthusiasm to our clinic. Tris’s passion for physiotherapy stems from her experience as a member of the Hong Kong Women’s Junior Handball Team, which sparked her strong interest in musculoskeletal pain and sports-related injuries.
Her approach to patient care emphasises a combination of manual techniques for immediate relief and evidence-based exercise programs to address the root causes of issues for long-term results. Always eager to expand her skill set, Tris is currently pursuing advanced knowledge in dry needling, clinical Pilates, and vestibular disorders. As a multilingual professional fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she’s excited to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. When Tris isn’t at the clinic, you’ll likely find her hitting the court for a game of badminton, tennis, or volleyball.
Outside of sports, she enjoys cooking and baking—she’s a firm believer that great food brings joy to life! For downtime, she dreams of traveling to Japan or camping in the beautiful landscapes of Western Australia.
